Red House offers a special living environment and, when people come to live here, they tend to stay for a long time. Situated at the end of a long country lane, with only the River Ouse beyond, it provides a quiet haven in the beautiful countryside of the Vale of York. The modern world is not left completely behind as the A59 is only 2 miles away and this provides quick access to York and Harrogate with links to the A64 (Leeds) and A1(M). Our properties can be divided into 2 groups: in the grounds we have 2 cottages with 2 or 3 bedrooms and, in the Main Building we have another house with 3 bedrooms.

We are connected to the fibre broadband network offering high speed connectivity to the internet (£40pcm).
We have DIY Livery stables on site and these are available to rent subject to availablity. For more details visit our Livery pages.
Garages are available for rent on site, subject to availability.
Drinking water comes from our own borehole. It is tested regularly. It is pumped through a filtering system to each property from our own central pump system. Waste water is treated on site and managed by the estate. We only charge an extra £35 pcm per property for these services.
