Landing Field Fence
Work is almost complete on the new 100m fence along the river at the end of the Landing Field. The reason for its construction is to keep the horses away from the river bank and wood gutter ditch and also to provide an area for parking by the river moorings. The design of the fence was complicated by the number of different users of the space - apart from the horses and boat owners, we also had to leave space for the bridlepath by the river. Now the horses have been excluded from the strip by the river it is hoped we can encourage the growth of Tansy plants.
