A Horse's Eye View
The last week has given us great winds, frost and rain resulting in the River Ouse flooding for the first time in about 10 months. This has meant moving horses from the Ings Field to graze in the safety of the Moat Field where this picture is taken. The branches of the Moat Oak stretch out towards Moat Cottages and the Old Stables while the horses graze peacefully in the afternoon sunshine. Another waether system has been forecast to arrive tonight bringing more wind and rain, so this pleasant scene will not last.
