Taming the Crimson Rose
The climbing roses in Prince Rupert garden have been spectacular this year, particularly this crimson plant which has been wowing us for a few weeks now. Unfortunately the flowers were getting so heavy from the rain that the wind was beginning to tear them from the wall. After a few vine eyes had been screwed into the wall and a few more metres of wire used to hold everything up, it was soon being held tight to the masonry.
