The Ings Fields
Following recent "interactions" between walkers and the horses along the bridleway in the Ings Field, we have put up a 450 metre electric fence to separate the two. We are hopeful this will be a long term solution as any more permanent structure would be very vulnerable to the frequent flooding in the is area. We will be taking the opportunity to plant some willows along the riverbank with the view to reducing the erosion which is obvious from this photo.
