Beningbrough Hall from The Lagoon
This National Trust property is only about a mile away from Red House (a lot more by car, as it lies on the far bank of the Ouse). While walking around the estate, you are often surprised by glimpses of it through the trees. This scene was captured after the photographer was drawn to the lagoon by the comings and goings of the skeins of geese over Red House and their constant, background chatter.
