Working on the Yew Walk
The repairs to the wall which retains the Yew Walk are progressing well. The top section at the southern end had been poorly repaired in the past, with weak lime mortar, and had started to lean out. Each length is being carefully taken down to a safe level and rebuilt with a mixture of the old and matching new bricks.
