A New Arrival at Red House
For nearly 15 years MV Elbrich has been moored at the Redhouse Landing but she recently moved dowstream to Bishopthorpe. So, after many delays with locks being closed due to the current restrictions, MV Le Rocher arrived today (with a lot of help from the large, grey boat as she has no engine!). The mooring took place without a hitch and work is now underway to make her comfortable in her new surroundings. She is still looking a bit rough above the waterline as her new owner has great plans to convert her into a spacious houseboat.
