A Hungry Sparrowhawk
There was quite a commotion in front of the cottages at Red House last week when a sparrowhawk appeared, determined on having a tasty morsel. Blue tits, great tits, tree sparrows and robins sent out warning calls while hiding in the shrubs, as the hawk sat on the wall picking out his prey. He made several attempts by diving into the bushes but failed to catch anything. After 20 minutes he flew off to try somewhere else.
