Apple Buds in the Frost
The British Climate reminded us last night that you can never tell when spring is here. The temperatures plummeted to -5 degrees centigrade on Sunday night causing a hard frost. Over the weekend Gardeners around the estate had been out tending to vegetable patches and even cutting the grass. The willow leaves are beginning to show their vibrant green and buds on the apple trees are emerging slowly.
