The Red House Front Door
This beautiful entrance door was in installed during the 1860's refit of the Main Building and, a rare sunny day in late January, gave us the chance to take this fine photo in a the afternoon glow of a wintry sun.
In 2022, after 160 years of use, the door underwent a major refurbishment to strengthen the hinges and frame after it had begun to sag under its considerable weight.
