Looking South West from the Deer Park
A late afternoon stroll around the estate fields was rewarded by this great picture of darkening skies reflected in the puddles left by recent rain.
Against the skyline can be seen the excess of pylons that have been erected as part of the Yorkshire Green project. An upgrade to the line and a new sub station at Overton, across the river, has led to some temporary pylons being built next to the existing ones. The existing ones will then be dismantled and replaced by slightly larger ones to take the bigger cables. Then, one presumes, the temporary ones will be taken down!
