Looking East
Early morning frost and clear skies gave us this superb view across the Vale of York, looking out towards York. In the foreground is the old deer park of Red House. A couple of the old sycamore trees still survive in the fields which have now been ploughed for arable.
In the distance are the electricity pylons which are being upgraded by the Yorkshire Green Scheme to provide more power for EVs and heat pumps in the York area.
