Into the Jungle
While working on the bridleway by the river this week we sought refuge from the hot sun by ducking through the shrubs into the new plantation. It seemed like another world in there as the canopy almost completely cuts off the light, leaving no undergrowth around the trees. This is the far end of the woodland, planted in 2014, and it seems to have done well in the 10 years since.
