Grass Snake Caught in the Open
Wildlife at Red House continues to flourish and we always get a bit more excited when we see predators about, as it shows there is an abundance of other animals around. This grass snake (which feeds on amphibians) was spotted on one of the lawns, dashing for cover. Another was seen recently by the polytunnel. We have also had sightings of an otter on the fish ponds and there are daily visits by sparrow hawks and buzzards.
