Show Jumping Baby
This is the last young swallow in the nest which is in the scorehut of the show jumping arena. Every Wednesday evening for the last few weeks it has had its feeding regime interrupted for a couple of hours during the weekly jumping competition as its parents would not fly in to the nest when the hut was full of people. The brood does not seem to have suffered too much, the rest of its siblings are already flying about the paddocks, although they are still being fed by their parents as they sit on the fence daring to begin their hunting. Hopefully this one will be out and about with the others very soon.
