The Withy Hole Late in the Afternoon
Down at the end of the Moat Field lies The Withy Hole, through which flows the stream draining Redhouse Wood. Water is still flooding this low lying area after the River Ouse broke its banks last week. The Withy (Willow) Hole is a haven for wild life and a favourite haunt of owls and kestrels.
