We have an extensive and established cross country course which has been under continuous development since 1987. In that time we have held regular One Day Events, Show Cross Events and Hunter Trials. The course is also available for use during our Open Days, which are held on the first Saturday of each month from May to September. The course is no longer available for hire to individuals or groups who wish to use it on their own, unless it is an organised Pony or Riding Club session. (Sorry - there was too much work involved in clearing the fields of stock).

There are 57 jumps with an extensive range of designs, from the water complex to a simple log. Some are there to challenge advanced riders while others will give confidence to novices. The terrain is varied and the course is set in picturesque countryside with sections in open pasture, trees and even a medieval moat.
There are 3 main courses designed for beginners (up to 2ft), intermediate (up to 2ft 6in) and senior (up to 3ft) with a shortened junior course for Pony Clubs and our Riding Holidays.
In 2007 we redesigned some sections of the course and built 8 new fences over the season. There were also several fence modifications. This year we are continuing this development and work is currently underway.
