Ready for Take-off
The second hatch of swallows from the old stables are ready for flying lessons. Two of the four babies were pictured sitting on a joist in the entrance corridor with their impatient parents willing them on. They were not to be hurried as mum or dad couldn't resist getting them the odd morsel of food. It was more likely that a slip in the ensuing scrum was going to launch one of them off into the air!
