House Martins Passing Through
It has been a bumper summer for the swallows at Red House with hundreds gathering on the wires in recent weeks. However, apart from one nest, they have already gone south. Hence it was a surprise this morning to see the wires crowded again but, this time, by house martins which must have come from further north and are now on their journey to Africa.
