A Hungry Sparrowhawk
There was quite a disturbance in the big barn stables this weekend when a sparrowhawk decided to stop by for lunch. There are several swallow nests in the roof of the barn and the hawk was trying to catch the parents as they came to feed their young. Apparently this was not the first visit as there have been reports of feathers scattered around in some of the tack rooms.
