In the Chapel Rose Garden
The Roses in the Chapel Garden are at about their best this week and the new plants in the recent bed expansion are mature enough to have quite an impact. We have almost doubled the number of plants in the last 18 months by increasing the bed sizes and straightening up all the edges. The border by the Chapel south wall has also been completely dug over to allow more planting of roses, herbs and sweet peas. Sally Pickering (Head Rose Gardener) is shown in the photo taking some cuttings for an urgent flower order.
