Snow Days
The icy blast from Siberia has arrived at Red House. The lane is slippy but passable with care, the horses are enjoying the change from the mud but the chickens have been spared the freezing wind by being moved to the stables during the day and back to their cosy coop at night. With most schools closed the children were quick to take to taboggans and skis and make use of the "ski slope" in the Moat Field. Snow sculpturing was another popular activity.
