Setting up the Show Jumps
With the Show Jumping Season fast approaching there has been much activity in the old tractor barn as the jumps are cleaned and repainted for another summer. The preparations for the season's first competition are always the most intense as 40 wings and about 60 poles and fillers have to be moved into the arenas and set up in courses. For this year the job involved 6 adults, a nine year old, a baby and 1 dog so it was quite a sociable occasion! Thanks to Mike and Mel Cairns and their family for helping out.
