Where's the Pond Gone?
This is Jan Gordon in the Deer Park pond looking for a shoe that had recently been lost in a mud paddling expedition. The lack of rain over the last 3 weeks has seen the pond almost disappear and provide an irresistable fascination for young boys. Over the winter, when full, this pond provides an excellent location for high speed remote control boating, one of Jan's favourite hobbies.
