Ducklings
A mother and 10 ducklings were spotted in the Old Orchard today practising swimming and feeding techniques in the last of the winter puddles. There was some concern as they were quite close to some tractor activity where muck was being moved from the Old Orchard to be spread on the Hill Field. However, the mother kept the youngsters under close control and guided them back towards the fish ponds.
