Unpopular Poplar
Yesterday's high winds have blown down half of a large poplar tree that stood next to the old school rugby pitch. Annoyingly, it fell on to the fence of our neighbours at Park Farm making a bit of a mess. Not wanting to let sleeping logs lie, we set about cutting it up today; turning the brash into chip, logging the smaller branches and perhaps making a cross country jump out of the largest trunk.
