The Red House Landing
It is all quiet down on the River Ouse at the moment, a couple of small floods occurred over Christmas and New Year, but the water levels are well down in the channel now. The pontoon at the river landing at Red House has received a lot of attention in the past year with new bouyancy, decking and bridge being installed over the spring and summer. We have also greatly reduced the willows that grow on the bank, these can interfere with mooring lines unless kept under control.
