Solar Panels Installed
Last week 16 solar panels were installed on the roof of the big barn by the manège. They are linked in to the Estate's main electrical supply and should greatly reduce the running costs of the water pumps, stable lighting and swimming pool. In glorious sunshine they should be producing 4kW an hour but, over the whole weekend, they managed to produce only 2kWh due to the mists and general darkness. At least they give us another reason to look forward to brighter skies.
