The Highmoor Bloodhounds
The Highmoor Bloodhounds met at Red House on Sunday 21st of September for a "Hack with the Hounds". This provided a chance for riders to follow the hounds on a route along Red House Lane, to Poppleton via Thickpenny and then back along the River Ouse to Red House. The hounds made quite a spectacle and the noise they made as they returned past the Red House buildings was equally impressive. The followers also added to the event as they were so well turned out. It was certainly a memorable morning.
