Summer in Full Swing
It has been another busy week at Red House. We had a good show jumping competition on Wednesday and on Thursday evening the Moor Monkees (our local band) gave an impromptu outside performance in preparation for a weekend concert (not Glastonbury) which must have provided unusual accompanimemnt to the Pony Club training session going on just the other side of the garden wall. The Nidd Valley Riding Club were also here on Sunday with their Combined Training Competition which had a good sized entry from the Red House Livery Yard. We are also getting ready to bring the hay crop in by reflooring the hay barn and it was this activity which attracted this line of swallows on the gutter of the big barn as tractors and diggers moved around the yard.
