The Swimming Pool is Open!
Today saw the opening of the pool for the first time this season and, as usual, it was the younger residents of the Estate who were first in the queue to leap in. This was despite the boiler failing to work so the water temperature was a bracing 16 degrees centigrade. Amazingly the boiler engineer turned up on the Bank Holiday to fix the faulty valve and the temperature is now rising. Now all we need is some hot weather, just like we had while the pool was being prepared.
