Drifting Downstream
In this glorious May weather the countryside around Red House is showing its best colours as the hawthorn is in full snowy, bloom and the land is covered in fresh green growth. One of the best places to see this is from the River Ouse where the banks are gilded with the yellow of oilseed rape flowers that seem to be prominent this year.
