Oliver, The Party Pony
It was a busy Saturday for two of the Red House ponies, Oliver and Rosie, who were on duty at a pony party in Moor Monkton village. After being being brushed, plaited and beribboned, they were ridden the 3 km up the lane by Red House residents Milly Welborn(6) and Jan Gordon (5). They then had a happy hour being ridden around a paddock with lots of very excited young children, followed by a lot of petting and the nibbling of a few carrots. Sadly they missed the rest of the party food as they had to head home back down the lane with Milly and Jan in the saddles.
