Daffodils
The first splashes of colour are beginning to establish themselves around the gardens as the spring flowers really begin to get going. The daffodils are taking the lead with some great displays like this one on the yew walk and also along the drive. The grass around the estate has lost its winter grey/green and now looks healthy again, although it is noticeable that it has only really begun to grow on the lawns whereas the fieldgrass is taking its time. This means the horses are having to stay in their winter paddocks for a week or two yet.
