The Cricket XI of 1949
Following a recent donation of photos of Red House School in the 1940's by David Grayling, here is the cricket team of 1949 posing beside the pavilion. JH Watson was elected captain, Bill Anderton vice-captain. The XI was completed by John Backwell, Andrew W S Robinson, David Grayling, John B Anderton, Charles Clarkson, Malir, Richard Backwell, Gordon and Cockerill. Patrick G Baker and J H McBain also played. J P W Friedberger was the scorer.
