A Different Viewpoint
During some repairs to Moat Cottage roof this picture was taken looking east over the old victorian stables and arch. These buildings were put up in the 1860's and the stables still have some of the original cast iron stalls in place. The roof was renovated in 2007 and an on-going restoration continues inside. Some horses from the Riding Holiday were just being led out into the yard ready for the afternoon's activities. Beyond the arch can be seen the 17th century chapel.
