Barn Owl over Redhouse Lane
Barn owls have been very visible while out hunting in daylight hours this year and there have been frequent sightings of them over the Moat Field and caravan site, often with young in tow as they learn the ropes. We have a pair with young nesting in a sycamore tree in the Moat Field and, after the warm dry early spring which encouraged an early start to breeding, they have got off to an early start with their trial flights. This picture was taken from Redhouse Lane looking over the land adjoining Red House.
