Riding Holiday Tack and Turnout
We held the first Red House Riding Holiday of the season last week over the summer half term. The holiday was well attended and great fun seemed to be had by all. Highlights were competing in the Wednesday evening show jumping (where a hatful of rosettes were won), the "Red, White and Blue" themed musical ride and, of course, the fun and games of the gymkhana on the Friday afternoon. The winner of the Tack and Turnout competition was Grace Walker on Red (pictured above) after everyone had done a great job in making their horses look so good in what could be best described as "unhelpful" weather conditions.
