Seal Launch
Tim Hughes amd Mike Leadbetter were caught on camera launching off the pontoon into the River Ouse at The Dawnay Arms at Newton-on-Ouse as they started their return journey to Red House. These canoe expeditions are becoming a regular Sunday evening activity for Red House residents and friends as the daylight hours begin to draw out more. Enthusiasm is growing for river kayaking and there is even talk of training for the 125 mile Thames race from Devizes to the Westminster. At least this is all downstream but still a lot longer than our 7 mile up and downstream trip! More importantly, is there a pub every 7 miles on the route?
