Red House in the Late Afternoon Light
High pressure has brought a return to more peaceful winter weather with clear skies and sharp frosts. The façade of the main house was caught in the red light of a lingering Monday sunset which lit up the windows and emphasised the redness of the bricks. It has been a time for the estate staff to be outside in the grounds, new paths have been built, trees tidied and clearance of the undergrowth from the fish ponds has made great progress.
