The Last Colours of Autumn
As winter begins to take its hold, we try to savour the last of the autumn colours which are fast fading. Only the oaks and a few beech trees still have their leaves which provide a highlight, when the sun bursts through, against the greys and dark greens. The beech hedge next to the Moat Cottages produces these glorious browns although, with the recent strong winds, the leaves will soon be gone.
