Barn Owl
This beautiful Barn Owl has been hunting in the fields next to the caravan site, providing an evening spectacle as it searches for food, probably to feed its young. It is difficult to tell if this is a male or female - the female is the larger and has speckled feathers down its front (whereas the male has white) and the female hunts in a figure of eight pattern while the male tends to hunt in straight casts.
