Across the Water to Beningbrough
Continuing our watery theme (it must be something to do with the weather), here is the view north from Red House across the Redhouse Ings Reservoir towards Beningbrough village. The river Ouse is hidden behind the levée in front of the houses, one of the few times in recent weeks when it has been within its channel. The reservoir is a popular spot for geese, cormorants and gulls at this time of year and can be a noisy place as the geese make their comings and goings. In the foreground is the Moat Field with one of the cross country jumps caught in the morning sunlight.
