Sparrow Hawk.
This Sparrow Hawk has been resting in the yew trees around the Main Building at Red House after injuring its wing. It was first spotted last Monday with a damaged wing having just flown into a window. It took refuge under the shrubs in the hebacious border when the mobbing swallows became too much. The wing seemed to recover as each day it seemed to be able to fly higher into a tree. By Friday it had disappeared, hopefully fully recovered.
