Why did the chicken cross the road?
The answer, in this case, is so that she could take her chicks on a tour of the Estate. Jet, the proud mother, hatched this brood six weeks ago by sneakily hiding her eggs under a hedge so they could not be collected. The mother and chicks were put in a pen to keep them safe but last Thursday there was a breakout. Jet then took the family around the Estate showing them the best places to find worms.
