Cross Country
This shows one of the early Red House School cross country events that were originally set up in Redhouse Wood. The Forsetry Commission, who managed the 100 acres of woodland, allowed the school to set up a course of obstacles made up of branches and wooden stakes along the tracks. Lindsay Hodgson or Erica Brears is riding the Red House pony, Charlie, with Nick Gordon on the stopwatch and Mrs Gordon waving.
