The Train Room.
Mr Heazall was the groundsman at Red House and he was also very keen on trains. He set up a model railway club which was located in the storeroom next to Farm Cottage (where he lived - the cottage not the storeroom). This room has now been incorporated into Farm Cottage and makes rather a nice sitting room. It seems that the railway was quite a grand affair, as the photo shows, and Vodden and Murdoch were trained in running it. Mr Heazall's legacy remains as he also organised with the Cowleys for the erection of a full sized railway signal in front of the pigeon loft next to the train room. The signal still stands today (2013) having been renovated in 2010 although the pigeon loft has now become Signal Cottage.
