The Red House School First XI Cricket Team
Taken in front of the Front Door of the Main House. The team struggled during the 1968 season as the batting was not consistent enough and, looking through the results, it was generally better for the spectators if Red House batted second! There was a memorable shocker against Woodleigh (away) when, after the home team had declared at 121 for 3, Red House replied with a dismal 7 all out. However the team improved later on in the season with a good display against Cundall Manor. W. Danger and L. Moore put on a first wicket stand of 81, only for the game to end in a draw with Red House only 7 runs short of Cundall's 111 target with 5 wickets remaining.
Played 12, won 2, drawn 6, lost 6.
