The Cricket XI of 1949
Here is the cricket team posing beside the pavilion. JH Watson was elected captain, Bill Anderton vice-captain. The XI was completed by John Backwell, Andrew W S Robinson, David Grayling, John B Anderton, Charles Clarkson, Malir, Richard Backwell, Gordon and Cockerill. Patrick G Baker and J H McBain also played. J P W Friedberger was the scorer.
